My Journey to Data Analysis:

A Triumph Over Time and Formulas

In my teenage years, while working at a business center, I discovered Microsoft Excel. However, life’s distractions pulled me away from exploring its full potential. Years later, with a renewed determination to become a Data Analyst, I decided to upskill myself, including mastering Excel.

My journey led me to Entrylevel, where I enrolled in their Data Analyst course utilizing both Excel and Tableau. Initially, the biggest challenge was meeting deadlines. The seemingly simple task of squeezing in time to complete assignments became a struggle, compounded by occasional confusion with certain Excel formulas. But perseverance paid off, and once I grasped the concepts, everything felt smooth sailing.

Today, I’d like to share one of the tasks from the course. Feel free to take a look, and I’m eager to explore other datasets. If you have any interesting datasets, please share them in the comments below!

Here are some intriguing questions the provided dataset allows us to explore:

  • Subscriber Count: How many individuals are subscribed to each subject area?
  • Subject Variance: How do average content duration, price, and number of students vary across different subjects?
  • Free vs. Paid: What is the distribution of free and paid courses within each subject category?
  • Web Development Pricing: What is the average price for web development courses at different levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced)?
  • Top 20 Courses: Which are the 20 most popular courses based on user data?

Straight Outta…

By now, I’m positive you must have stumbled across the #Straightoutta memes buzzing all around the internet. Well if you haven’t, I’ll be puzzled.

This is a campaign for the movie titled Straight Outta Compton. It’s basically about the rise of LA’s finest Rap Group  N.W.A. The rap group then consists of Easy E (deceased), Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, DJ Yella and Arabian Prince who left the rap group later followed by Ice Cube.

The movie premiers on August 14, 2015. Soundtrack? Definitely produced by the King himself (my opinion) Dr.Dre. The sound track features Artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Game, Xhibit, Ice Cube, King Mez, Eminem, Kendrick and lots more.

Enough about movie and sound tracks, here are some #straightoutta memes created by a few.
